The Moscow Mule is also known as a Vodka Buck is a type of alcoholic mixed beverage made of ginger beer and vodka. It was invented in 1941 in Los Angeles, California and is traditionally served in a copper mug. The Moscow Mule is largely thought to be responsible for the popularity of vodka from the 1940's-1960's in America.

Here is the Moscow Mule recipe:
1.5-2 oz Vodka
.5 oz Lime Juice
4-6 oz of Ginger Beer
Ice cubes & Lime wedge

To prepare:
1. Squeeze lime juice into your Moscow Mule mug
2. Add 2-3 ice cubes
3. Pour in vodka, then fill with ginger beer
4. Garnish with lime and serve with a stirring rod

  1. Uhg...not dishwasher safe means that every time the hubby makes one of these drinks, I-I-I have to wash the mug.

  2. I love this mug..except the whole non-dishwasher safe part. I'm bad about leaving those types of items in the sink until it HAS to be washed LOL

  9. This mug is super chic! I love copper in the kitchen, but usually it's so expensive. I could definitely find a home for this one. We're not really Moscow Mule drinkers, but tea or other iced drinks flow abundantly.
