About Adamia:
Adamia is a therapeutic repair lotion that is made in Australia. It contains Promega-7 from the infused macadamia oil. Because macadamia oil closely resembles the oils in our own skin, it offers exceptional absorption and hydration. Adamia is designed specifically for those with distressed and aging skin. It has been tested in senior living facilities and shown improvements in multiple areas such as skin tear incidence rates, skin integrity scores, reduced cost for facility related skin issues, and improvement in clinician assessment of skin quality.Omega-7 is a monounsaturated fatty acid that blends in with the skins natural fatty acid composition. As the skin matures, omega-7 levels naturally drop. Most lotions rely on producing a barrier to 'lock-in' moisture and prevent drying out of the skin. Adamia replenishes the skin's natural oils with the oils in the macadamia. In order to truly restore the skin and help start the process of healing, the oils must be replenished before locking in the moisture.
My Review:
I began using this lotion as winter was ending and warm weather was finally starting to appear. This year, winter seemed to drag on and on, leaving my skin dry and cracked. I have been applying Adamia twice daily and my skin has shown significant improvement. My hands now feel soft to the touch and there are no longer signs of distress. It non-greasy and fragrance free, however I do sense a slight cinnamon smell. I also started applying the lotion to my knees and elbows to keep them from drying out. It has really helped and I will continue to use Adamia to restore my skin's natural oils!Adamia is dermatologist tested, fragrance free, non-allergenic, paraben free, cruelty free, petroleum free, and vegan friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from rough, dry or cracked skin. This will restore your skin and leave you feeling great.
I am always looking for a great lotion. This one sounds great! Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI like that this is fragrance free! Nothing is worse than a hand cream that is meant to heal but is just all smelly!
ReplyDeleteI love that it is dermatologist tested and safe for sensitive skin!
ReplyDeleteI am severe dry skin and in winters I need to keep applying moisturizer like multiple times else my skin cracks up. This looks something I can use to soothe and repair my skin. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy skin has started aging this year to my disapproval. This might be my next attempt to help my skin.
