The Supernova Orion Ultimate Survival Rechargeable LED Lantern and Power Bank is definitely the neatest camping lantern I have ever used. It has so many functions packed into its small size, it is hard to imagine that it could be beat! It is a lantern, with 4 built in light settings: ultra bright white light, a dimmer white light, red light, and flashing red light. To turn it on, you just pull up on the top part to expose the light, pressing the button changes the light setting.

It is equipped with 2 rechargeable lithium ion batteries, that are charged via USB. You also have the option to use 3AA batteries, which are included, in case you do not have the ability to charge up the lantern. Another bonus is that this lantern doubles as a power bank. If your phone is low on power, simply connect the cord and plug it in for some extra juice. You can tell when the batteries of the lantern need recharged by the color of the button on the front. If it turns red, it is time for a charge up.

This is the perfect survival lantern, and I know I will be bringing it along the next time I go camping or hiking. It is lightweight and will not weigh down your pack. I love that it has a steady red light option, that way you do not go night-blind when using it as your main source of light. It would also be great in the event of a power outage. It would easily light up an entire room.  I recommend this to anyone who enjoys the outdoors or likes to be prepared in the event of an emergency.
