Silicone Baking Cups Review #TheSimpleBaker

These Baking Cups by The Simple Baker are my new favorite baking addition! They make the process much simpler.
A little bit about them:
  • The set comes with 6 vibrant colors - pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple - a total of 24. They are heat resistant up to 475°. Each cup measures 2-5/8 inch diameter x 1.25 inch tall and holds 2.5 fluid ounces- a standard cupcake size.
  • They are environmentally friendly. These reusable silicone baking cups are BPA Free and made with eco-friendly silicone. You no longer need to buy paper wrappers to throw out after every use.
  • Easy to use and clean! They are made of 100% Pure food grade silicone, which is stain resistant and completely dishwasher safe.
  •  No need to use a muffin tray, just place these cups straight onto a baking sheet.

I decided to test these out by making German Chocolate cupcakes. Prior to starting, I made sure to wash the cups to get the plasticy smell out of them. This was simple- I just threw them on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Once they were clean and dry I set them up on a baking tray. What is great about these is that there is no need to have special muffin tins. The silicone is sturdy and holds up fine even when the raw batter is poured into them. After they were done baking, the cupcakes were very easy to pop out of the liners and left little residue on them. I love that these are reusable and dishwasher safe. I can definitely say I will be using these alot in the future!
