What is Argan Oil?
Argan oil is produced from the kernels of the Argan Tree that is native to Morocco. While we mainly associate it with beauty products, in Morocco, it is often used for dipping bread or in pasta. The Argan Tree is an endangered and protected tree. It can only be legally farmed by selected producers of Argan Oil. This makes it extremely rare, gaining it the nickname of "Liquid Gold." Over 3,500 years ago, ancient Moroccan Berbers first perfected the extraction of Argan Oil from the kernels of the Argan Tree.Having an unusually high content of antioxidants, Argan has the perfect blend for both medicinal and cosmetic applications. Swiss Botany's Pure Moroccan Argan Oil is only made of one ingredient: Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, and it is certified organic. It is produced using the highest standards in the industry, cold pressed, unrefined, all-natural and unscented.
Review:
I used this product at night on my face and noticed an improvement in the smoothness and my overall complexion. I also applied just a drop to my hair to tame flyaways and make it more manageable. It is surprising how far just a drop goes. I love the eye-dropper that comes with the product. It makes using it easy and quick.A few other uses for Argan Oil include:
-Used for anti-aging or treating dry skin. This includes eczema and psoriasis.
-Helps to alleviate muscle pain
-May reduce the appearance of scars
-Helps reduce facial blemishes- leaving a non-greasy feeling.
-Helps reduce wrinkles & treat dark under-eye circles
-Improves dry, brittle, frizzy and damaged hair.
